WEB DESIGN

I had the amazing opportunity to lead the redesign of the e-commerce site for the Girl Scouts of the USA. Being the sole designer on the project, I was responsible for envisioning the site's aesthetics, creating designs for the front-end developers, and developing comprehensive functionality documentation with a strong focus on enhancing the user experience.

Using color blocking and playful illustration, my vision was to create an inviting website that was intuitive to navigate for Girl Scout members, especially on mobile devices.

I’ve art directed and designed numerous custom landing pages for the Girl Scout Shop site. Anything from new collections, product related events, and gift guides for the holidays. Below is a recent landing page I designed to launch the new older girl uniform collection on the Girl Scout Shop site.

On the same landing page customers can toggle back and forth between browsing featured looks or creating their own look from new modern uniform pieces. With the “shop now” feature on each product, customers can add pieces to their cart without leaving the page.

We utilized the same tab structure on the main landing page for users to toggle back and forth between “shop”, “#GSTYLE” which promoted the live shopping event (pictured below) and the “behind the scenes” of the creation of the new uniforms.
